Day 326 FebDoodle Sea
FebDoodle
My CLmooc friends doodle everyday. Today I chose “sea” as a prompt from DoodleADay ElloLovey. This month I have some classes to take, so I will be creating quick doodles, rather than the more complex patterns. I think I’ll create them in this funky style I learned from Brenda Bakker of the Netherlands in her Sketchy Doodle Skillshare Class.
I created my own “messy brush” based on techniques from Jennifer Nichols brush making classes on Skillshare [like this one— she has three classes on brush making]. You can see it in the black swoosh lines– the main line has little splashes of paint along its path. Very fun.
I decided on this style because I wasn’t happy with my first doodle about the sea:
So I changed the background and added the outlines and funky lines. There’s much more “action” going on in the final image with the changed style.
