Daily Notes

A Daily Challenge to myself: a photograph and poetry. Outside our window, the neighborhood kids play, sending their laughter and chatter as sounds of hope through our window. On our walk today, the chatter was quiet, and only the artifacts of children’s play remain. Hence, the poem for today.

Quiet

Chatter and laughter
outside my window quiets;
after lunch nap time.
