Day 306 Half
Daily Notes
A Daily Challenge to myself: a photograph and poetry. Today, still sad and disheartened at the insurrection on January 6th, I found more sadness, yet some solace in the flag flying at half mast in honor of those police who died defending the Congress as they conducted the people’s business.
HALF
They protected those
doing the people’s work; now
flags fly at half mast.

January Doodle
And, being hopeful, the “Good News” pattern illustration shows “talks” and a “hand shake” in hopes that Americans can do just that. The prompt is for my doodle a day with my friends at CLmooc, #jandoodle, with prompts for Spoonflower, a site I share my art to at times.
Daily Create
The Daily Create For today’s TDC… #tdc3289 today asked us to share a photo of “western wear.” My photo is from my flickr album of western wear that includes regalia and roots, dancing with jingles, a culture of hope.
Pray for America. The hopeful, I worry that this is not yet over.
