Day 301 Next
Daily Notes
A Daily Challenge to myself: a photograph and poetry. Today, the lovely red winter berries remind me I should plant more in my yard. Hence the poem, Next.
NEXT
Next spring,
for garden plans,
remember which berries
will the songbirds
of winter
bring.
January Doodle
For my doodle a day with my friends at CLmooc, #jandoodle, with prompts for Spoonflower, a site I share my art to at times, I created an illustration in a “confetti” pattern in three different background colors. I created my own “confetti” brush to create it!
Spoonflower is sponsoring the January challenge with artist Rhianna Wurman who started #doodleaday— read all about it in the link above. You’ll find all of these on Instagram: 42Sheri
Daily Create
The Daily Create today filed through its archives to its first create and sent the prompt to us: a photograph in a repeating pattern. I added a quote relevant to the pattern I created of the roots of a tree along the sidewalk in my neighborhood.
Fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree, but their seeds can go places and wherever they go by their virtues they leave their traces.

Enjoy your day! Pray for America’s democratic republic, under attack by white supremacists.
