Day 251 NaNoWriMo Olivia
An excerpt from So Says The River
In her mind Willow pictured High Raconteur Olivia’s frowning black eyebrows, almost a direct diagonal to her pointed nose. Her thin mouth would pull straight into a thin line. Her large, shadowed eyes would turn as black as her thinning hair, glaring with a few tints of a dark moon blue that always haunts us when she stares at our work. She’d pull her straight hair back away from her face to behind her left ear and raise one eyebrow in suspicion.
Willow laughed at the caricature in her mind and thought, “Sorry, Olivia, but you could be the witch in any story.” As she tucked herself into bed to finally find some sleep, she thought, “In fact, I’m not sure you aren’t one.”
