After a nap, a good stretch. Now where are those butterflies?
The next few days will be sketchy for posting. We are surrounded by wildfires, currently far away, but fast-moving and filling the sky with smoke that means staying in doors, windows closed.
I am currently using my iPhone as a hot spot because our internet service provider is out– with no word whatsoever on what’s happening or when the issue will be fixed. But that is the least thing to worry about since people’s homes and lives may be at risk due to the forest fire and COVID issues.
We now live on a planet where survival is the name of the game on a daily basis. The past is a fairy tale.
The main leaders in charge are not helping. Those who are using science and logic and care are being undermined by conspiracy theories spread on social media– and supported by the current national leaders. Can we stop them? I don’t know– I’ll be listening to this MarketPlace podcast about just that.
I’m thankful I live in a state with a true leader, one tough enough to get beyond the hype and distractions and deal with such problems as COVID and wildfires directly.
