Art is transformative. Struggling with its creation strengthens one’s spirit and opens creativity as solutions are found.

Start at any age; try many styles. Find your styles– not one, but many. Dig into the parts that you find interesting: color theory, portraits, perspective, Anime,  Manga, comic, posters, lettering, the classics, different artists, activism. There’s something for everyone, and everyone was once a beginner.

YouTube, Artist websites, learning platforms like Udemy, MasterClass, and Skillshare all provide some form of instruction and helps, many for free.

For me, who is, obviously if you read my posts, struggling with the devastation of norms of progressive and accepting living by the current politics in power. Art is a refuge of time and craft.

I am not an artist. I am a novice. I struggle at every step of the way. I chose this as an interest before the evil started, but now it is my meditation, my safe place, my release place, my hope place.

Art can do that for you, too. And if you have questions, I’ll be glad to ask along with you and look for answers.
