Gratitude
It’s amazing how easy it is to give a kind word as we pass through the moments of our day, no matter how busy it may be. Each kind word or smile or nod of appreciation connects us one to another, and in each– the giver and receiver, a layer of love grows, the love of our humanity, our compassion and empathy for each other. Those small gifts grow gladness that spreads, that allows us to give back and know that we are loved.
Lots of research shows this to be true. Here’s one such article from Harvard Medical School: Giving thanks makes us happier.
This art and poetry is part of the CLmooc Poetry Port for February. Give or write a poem. For information, read this from the CLmooc website: Come Sail into Poetry Port.
I am grateful for #CLmooc for always connecting and giving and thinking and wondering and supporting each other, many since 2014 as an online course in collaboration. And the great thing is: we invite you too!
So join us! Write or receive a poem: Come Sail into Poetry Port.
