A Child’s Wish of Joy

OrnamentsOwlsPoemHolidayJoy sm

In the darkest of nights as you turn out the lights

While the forest so deep as you fall asleep

Finds the dream of a child wishing creatures once wild

Will gather and twirl, shining joy to our world.

    • Thank you, Jason, for reading the poem and taking a moment to comment. In the poem, I originally wrote, “our troubled world,” but it didn’t quite fit. I worry for the children.
