A Child’s Wish of Joy
In the darkest of nights as you turn out the lights
While the forest so deep as you fall asleep
Finds the dream of a child wishing creatures once wild
Will gather and twirl, shining joy to our world.

Art from the Heart
Beautiful poem and painting!
Thank you, Jason, for reading the poem and taking a moment to comment. In the poem, I originally wrote, “our troubled world,” but it didn’t quite fit. I worry for the children.
