An Invitation

The Rock: Steamboat Rock

My adventures this week will be views from outskirts of Steamboat Rock State Park.

Today:

A soft autumn breeze

fingers your hair,

flinging it gently back as if

blades of bunchgrass

gently waving

in the rhythm

of the wind

that

in the sky

of azure blue

endlessly frees

cottonballs of clouds

scattering them slowly across as if

painting the sky

with a soft autumn breeze.
