SOL18 Old Rural Small

We are two hours from any major city, forty-five minutes from a larger town. On the other hand, we are five minutes from any appointment. No traffic. Just hop in the car and you’re already half-way there.

It’s beautiful, peaceful, and our part of town is filled with the beauty of the shade of the trees. North, west, or east, you’ll find a lake. We have five lakes within two minutes of our house. We love it here.

Old homes in our town. And old sewage systems. And today, our local plumber, who works for a company an hour away, was in town. Lucky for us. Because the old sewer system of the city clogged up and backed up, flooding into our basement. Have you heard the word “infrastructure” lately?

It’s a mess, but we still love it here.

Excuse me; I have cleaning to do.
