SOL18 Not Yet Spring
March 18
7:05 PM
Sunset.
Cold blue sky
darkened, unpruned crab apple trees
path of monsters with outstretched arms
pulling electrically pulsing cables
and climbing up and over
ancient glacial hills
beneath the pink puffs
of not-yet-spring clouds
announcing darkness
as the orange sun
drops
from the cold blue sky
in sunset.

Sheri,
The picture brings memory of Mesas in India to me. The orange sun is flaming, sending plum of smoke down.
You poem is evocative. Please keep sharing.
Best wishes.
