#sol15 Frost
Spring sends mornings
Still clutching winter;
A pause in hope
to prick
our thanks
of sun,
A hope that spreads,
Still with warmth
Spring sends afternoons.

Spring is certainly taking its darn sweet time making a solid appearance, that’s for sure. Your words evoke today’s (yesterday’s?) weather perfectly. It was a tad bitter in the morning, but the afternoon was very nice. I’ll be happy when the AM gets the memo of spring as well.
I love the image paired with the poem!
Love the idea of frost being winter clutching on. Great visual!
