My rinds are too harsh. I tried to smudge them a bit; I used the fine gouache brush and perhaps I should have stayed with the thick brush at a smaller size. I did go in to add more shading on the areas deeper into the pile of citrus. Lots to learn, but this video will help you with both digital and analog painting with gouache.
