Every day, a photograph, a poem. I looked for something hopeful and found this lone day lily photo, a poor one of the two that bloomed this year. Thankful, I am, for the two.

Only Two

Day lilies of yellow
Bright sun against the green
This year bloomed— only two
We missed their heavenly sheen.
