Prompts from Lisa Bardot’s #makingarteveryday continues the monthly focus of “Grow” with the theme of “Grow Your Style” and today’s project is “past piece do-over.”

I chose two recent pieces for which I was not happy, but time stopped me.

The first, the bunny, needed a brighter background. Easy fix. Also, the carrot needed to be planted better in the ground. Not sure about the fix, but it’s in the ground now and little bunny is struggling to get the carrot. Silly rabbit.

The second, the bumble bee. I don’t know how the cute curve of my bee became elongated, but I took this time to create the bumble bee into his cute compact shape.

Like writing, I guess art is never done.
