Earth’s Coat

Every day, a photograph, a poem. This morning again, the sun is obscured by rolling fog, settling into its easy chair for a morning’s rest. It’s lovely and fanciful though somewhat dreary, a chance to consider all we do not know and have yet to discover.

Earth’s Coat

It settles, this fog,
floating coolly, wrapping earth
in an obscure coat
