Pheasant

Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. A while ago, when the first cold and first snow blanketed the area, our drive met a surprise running across the snow. Usually, pheasants hide in the tall grasses and crops in the fields. But today, this one ran across the snow and back to its hiding place as we drove by. I was surprised I caught him on camera on my iPhone.

Pheasant

I am beautiful
All over the world, hiding
Within the grasses.
