Turkey March

Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. Scott says, “Quick— turkeys!” I rushed out in time to see them running across the snow-filled street and noticed that each have their left foot up and are almost evenly spaced, as if marching in a parade for us. Ha.

Turkey March

Gobble, gobble here
Gobble, gobble there
Left, Right, Left, Right
Marching turkeys bold
Marching turkeys cold
One, Two, Three, in sight.
Marching, marching fine
Keeping, keeping time
Left, Right, Spring in sight.
