Day 588 Forever Thankful
Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. Today, I followed a prompt about how we are connected to farming.
On My Table
That of course reminded me of every meal — for which I am so thankful.

Vegetarian Pizza
Minestrone
Rice Pilaf, Squash, Chicken
Why I Snap Photos
And that’s why I often pause to snap pictures of the places around me that grow the things that end up on my table.

Rainbows over Wheat
Crops
Okanogan River fields
Irrigation
Sunflowers Deer Park
Orchard on Columbia River
Palouse Wheat Fields
To the horizon
Rolling hills
Working the fields
the expanse of crops
Rocks and Weather
Harvest Time
Halloween and Pumpkins
So a Blog Post and Poetry
So I wrote this poem of gratitude and this blog post for #writeout : Thankful for Fields of Plenty.
Forever Thankful
Forever thankful-yes:
Sheri Edwards
In weather unpredictable
On land rolling in rocks,
The strong ones toil in every season-
planning, preparing, planting, producing-
food that graces our table
Yes: thankful forever.
