450.38 Summer Campfires
Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem.
Last night the sky roared in shards of lightening thrown onto the parched land– the baked grasses, sage brush, and pine trees– sparking fires all around– three at the moment fourteen miles north of here, with many people forced to leave their homes under threat by the wildfires.
Today, fires still race along any bit of fuel, and smoke fills the air–increasing the health risks for many. Check the Purple Air site for updates on air quality and listen to the local news and your local authorities for wildfire information. It’s not easy to keep up to date– maybe we need to pay someone to do it– so the best advice I can share is here: Wa State Wildfires. InciWeb needs more people to gather the information and post the information.
INFRASTRUCTURE! We need, in these times of local and global climate catastrophes, accurate alert and help information.
People WANT infrastructure! Please.

now, it’s a fear of wildfire.
