Day 446 Whimsy

Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. It’s hot today. Very hot. Luckily I have a gigantic sycamore in my backyard that shades the house and the entire back yard. It makes gardening a bit difficult, but it’s worth it.

And tucked away on the edge where the sun shines a bit is this patch of lovely purple geraniums [cranesbill] where a little frog smiles away, waiting for the evening breeze.

Such is our our yard: whimsy.

Whimsy

Frog smiles holding chimes

as geraniums bloom in

a dance of summer.
