Day 411 Missed

Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. I sat wondering on this cold day of April, what I would notice and note today. As I sat at my computer, I looked down at my notepad, a gift from a friend from two years ago– the last time the “ladies” gathered at Dumas Bay for a stamping retreat. Carol always brings everyone a little gift, like this note pad. I miss the creations we make and share and learn about. I miss our “together laughing” time. Someday, if people get their act together and wear masks, but — you know about that. I look forward to our retreat– maybe next year.

Missing

Ladies gather to

create in chatter, laughter,

stories, care, and gifts—

now we stay away at home,

the joy of together, missed.
