April Doodle

My CLmooc friends doodle everyday. April’s prompts are from Rachelle at TinkerLab — #tinkerlab. We also participate in the “#sketchdesignrepeat #3x3designchallenge” sketch design challenge. Or, just doodle what you like and when you can. 

Today I chose a Tinkerlab prompt: clouds.

This simple image needs many layers:

Note: the little arrow icon on the right means the layer is “clipped” to the layer below; the layers with “squares” means its “alpha locked” so only the shape on the layer can be colored. The letters indicate blending modes. The checked box means the layer is visible.

Digital art is a different way of thinking than with actual media– and you can “hide” and “undo,” which is are very helpful!
