Day 373 MarchDoodle Duck

My CLmooc friends doodle everyday. Today I chose “duck” as a prompt from DoodleADay ElloLovey. See all the entries here: DoodleADayMarch.

I took a class today by Jennifer Nichols in creating scenes with depth, so I applied the skills to today’s doodle. Foreground is highly saturated with color, mid ground is saturated, and background is not saturated in color.

I also forgot to add shadows to the foliage in the background– you can see the difference in the image below, without the shadows.

It’s all part of a great lesson that will help in the future with any app or medium.
