Day 359 Rain
Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem.
Rain
A drizzle dampens
the ground and spirit, or shows
you pussy willow.

On our walk today, which we chose to do even in the drizzle and code, we found the little things that let us know that spring is on the way and hope is here.
My mom would love to find the little pussy willows each spring– she so enjoyed the little bits furry buds and said her mom would place them in a small vase to bring the spring inside.
What are pussy willows, you ask? The Brooklyn Botanical Garden website shares a beautiful article about them. Enjoy.
