Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem.
More Snow

Today, apparently, it worked: the same little snowman I put out to attract a lovely snow brought hours of snowfall, which forms soft piles of crystals to delight us all. And so, another picture of my snowman. 🙂
A reminder: in North Dakota, where I’m from, the snow would blow horizontally into drifts: I never saw a gentle snowfall with piles of snow on fenceposts, railings, and wooden snowmen until I moved to Washington State!
PS: My kind husband walked around the house to snap this picture for me before shoveling the sidewalk and before anyone stepped onto the porch. Thank you, Scott, for capturing the magic of the moment.
