January Doodle

This, for my doodle a day with my friends at CLmooc, #jandoodle, with prompts for Spoonflower, is an illustration of the prompt “home.”  You’ll see how huge our sycamore is in the back yard, the tree for whom today’s poem is written. The tree makes it a castle, though our home is but a cottage. In it can still be heard the sounds of family gatherings, stories of the day at the lake, grandchildren cooking, ninja skits, detective stories, drawing, painting, dancing, singing, walking Pooka. I love our little home.
