Day 218 Remnants of A Day at the Lake

Taking a walk before the clouds overwhelm us in weather tomorrow, the lake brings calm and hope.

And we find remnants of others who have also spent time around a campfire in this spot, Jones Bay on Banks Lake at Steamboat Rock State Park.

Vandalism turned art— circles on the edge of the picnic table

It’s the little things that build memories. Who knows if these campers return to add more each year?

Although not a nice thing to vandalize, for us, it was noticing someone else’s small story.
