Desert Rose

dancingleafteainmomsteacup.jpg

Today, I brought out my mom’s teacup– Franciscan Desert Rose from the early 1930’s. I have one, and it seemed the perfect fit for “Dancing Leaves” tea, a green tea for a grey day, steeped in a green cast iron dragonfly teapot. So good.

And the water, heated in the new electric tea infuser:

A cozy day of rest after a hectic and heart-warming holiday weekend.

What’s your go-to for rest and relaxation?
