Read Between the Wines

This is the flyer / poster / advertisement I created for the fundraiser for our local library. I’m part of “Friends of Grand Coulee Area Library,” a nonprofit that supports through volunteer help and fundraising our local library, which serves all of the small towns in our area.

Today, we sorted through the many donated books for the many we will have on display for purchase through donations at this event, which we call Read Between the Wines. The local “The Wine Bar” permits us to host our event there so attendees can purchase wine while eating the munchables we bring.

I’ll be making bookmarks thanking the public for last year’s support. That support at our three main events: Read Between the Wines, Charge Up Your Chapters (at the local Voltage Coffee Shop), and our Garden Drive on 155 (a tour of our local gardens).  Because of that community support, we were able to obtain a grant for needed audio-visual equipment for the many presenters at our little library.

Without community support, many kids in our area would miss out on the excellent after school and summer programs provided at our library.
