Please join us on July 3rd, 10:30-11:30 AM EST for a Special #literacies Chat with the participants of the Fordham University Literacy Institute! Many of these participants will be chatting on Twitter for the first time. The participants, a mix of doctoral students, elementary school teachers, and English and Social Studies teachers, will be spending the summer considering what it means to be a contemporary learner. From the Literacy Institute:
As we look to the future of education, we know we must engage learners digitally. We must develop digital literacies and critical content knowledge, and we must transform classrooms and schools that have evolved from industrial models.
